Knowing I wanted to read this when I saw the title, I am definitely a "readaholic" and when I read the synopsis I knew I wanted to get to know Amy-Faye and her book loving friends, a book group of "readaholics".

Amy-Faye's blooming event planning business is in full swing with a whole list of events planned in her hometown of Heaven, Colorado including planning a wedding for her former boyfriend, Doug and his Fiance, Madison. She decides to take it on all the while nursing feelings that are creeping up from their past relationship that she is full out denying to herself.

Her group of friends are a close knit group. With Amy-Faye naming them the "Readaholics". Getting together to read books then discussing them. Life seems to be heaven until her friend and "Readaholic", Ivy is found clinging to life by Amy-Faye buy Ivy does not make it and the police shrug it off as a suicide but Amy-Faye never believed that Ivy could be the type to commit suicide. Amy-Faye starts to dig deeper and discovers that Ivy was keeping secrets and comes across something that could destroy some of Heaven's most prominent residents. Amy will risk it all to try to find her friend, Ivy's killer and throw the book at him for good.

With a feisty and determined sleuth named Amy-Faye, and her group of "Readaholic" friend's and with a murderer lurking it's winning combination for this first in a series. An enticing plot with a eccentric cast of characters that are sure to please the reader and it surely pleased me. I felt for Amy-Faye and her plight sometimes on the verge of tears for her. A fantastically written beginning to what is sure to be a long lasting and engaging series. I can't wait to read and review the next book in this series, The Readaholics and the Poirot Puzzle in December 2015

  15. Thanks for the great review :-) I had been intrigued by the plot and the premise ever since this book was announced ...but due to my habit of being cautious and selective while starting a series by a 'new-to-me' author ...I was waiting for reviews by whom I consider reliable reviewers (including you...!) to decide whether I wanted to risk it or not. And now that I have decided to go for it, I really wish that I was eligible for the giveaway but I live in Germany...! But anyway. I am quite sure that I won't regret spending money for it on www.amazon.de :-)
