Recent college graduate Meg Reed has had her life swept from beneath her dealing with the death of her father, no job opportunities and living on a friend's couch. But a chance encounter with the owner of an outdoor enthusiasts magazine sends her into the world of rock climbing, reality tv and murder.

Soon Meg finds herself wrapped up in a murder that she can't just leave up to the local authorities to take care of. She needs her story, she needs to know and she needs to watch her every step. Along with help and increasing warnings from her friends, boss and local sherrif, she keeps digging deeper and deeper until she has no where to go.

I enjoyed the story Meg took me on, trying to find her way in the world of journalism and rock climbing. It is two worlds I would never have to ventured into in my life. The depiction of Oregon was beautiful, the mountains and forests and rivers. And I love Meg's Adventure Tips at the back of the book, they were great.
