Trendy Tails Pet Boutique is all the rage for pet parents of dogs and cats who want to dress their animals in the latest pet fashions. Izzy McHale is hard at work planning two weddings to take place there for her friend and owner of Trendy Tails, Ingrid and Harvey and and two delighful pooches.

A mysterious  writer named Daniel Colona is renting out the upper floor of Trendy Tails to the bewilderment of the Trendy Tails crew trying to wonder what strange story has brought him to their town of Merryville, Minnesota.

In a twist of fate Daniel suddenly comes tumbling down the stairs right in the middle of Ingrid and Harvey's wedding and to the alarm of Izzy and all the wedding guests they discover that Daniel is dead and at the top of the stairs stands Izzy's wacky aunt, Dolly. Izzy and everyone at Trendy Tails including Izzy's pets Packer and Jinx and Daniel's sweet dog, Daisy try to sniff out a killer before Izzy's aunt Dolly ends up in the dog house for good.

Irresistible for pet lovers this cozy mystery is a fun read.  A Light hearted story with likable characters. Also with a few lessons about love we could all afford to take. I loved getting to know Izzy and all of the lovely animals that made this story come to life and any story with a writer in it has me hooked. I do have the first in this series, Paws for Murder, on my bookshelf and I'm very excited to read it. I can't wait to read and review the next in the series Collared for Murder, out in Summer 2015
