    1. Dalene, I recommend trying the Books by the Bay Mysteries. Olivia is a really interesting character and I think you will like all the bookish in there with the writers club.

  11. Hi Fab Readers! Thought I'd drop by and answer some questions. First, I love pie! Too much probably. I've baked every pie I've used for recipes in these books and plenty that didn't make the cut. What I do is bake a pie, sample it, and then bring it around to the neighbors. They let me know if it ins't a 9 or a 10 out of 10. If it isn't, it doesn't make the book! My favorites are pumpkin, apple crumble, and breakfast pie.

  12. Lisa,

I probably won't spend the time or money to release the newly edited Collectibles mysteries as paperbacks. They just don't sell many copies. However, the series will continue, though I won't be writing them. Readers want more and since I'm already writing 3 series, I don't have time to write more, but I thought it would be great to give a new writer the opportunity, so Book 4 should come out later this year. I don't know details right now though.

  13. I have to caution you all about the paperback originals for both the collectibles and supper club series. They are my first books and well, they're not as polished as I'd like them to be. That's why I rereleased the collectibles and first 3 in the supper club (so far) as ebooks, because I really wanted to edit those books from cover to cover. So please don't judge my writing on those early attempts (gulp!)

  15. "She adopted the overly confident motorist's pratice of rolling stops and pretended to be completely unaware of the stick on her steering column that would activate her turn signal"
    Pies and Prejudices

As a transplanted Northern driver this line made me laugh out loud.

Can't wait for the first book, Murder in the Mystery Suite! Also, I need to know if something like Storyton Hall exists so I can throw my money at it on vacation someday. ;)

  25. This is a new to me author so I am starting with the Pie Shoppe series. I am one of those people that MUST read a series in order so I am loving Pies and Prejudice and will definitely continue with the series. Have about 100 pages left - glad I haven't figured out for sure the "whodunit" yet. Love the southern characters. Makes them seem like real people.
